We're starting our 3D Studio Max lessons with a simple object, a shower head, which we'll create using polygonal modeling.

First let's create a Box 60 units long, 60 wide and 30 high, with 2 Height Segs, 1 Length segment and 1 Width segment.

Convert the Box to an Editable Poly (right-click > Convert To > Convert To Editable Poly) or add an Edit Poly modifier. Then select the middle row of vertices and move them down, to about 20% of the height.
